Apple's MacBook Pro has been upgraded across all models with slightly faster Core-i processors, more storage and better graphics. And they still cost the same.
The entry-level 13-inch model gets a 100MHz processor speed bump while its hard drive capacity has been increased from 320GB to 500GB. The S$2,048 13-inch MacBook Pro also gets a similar speed upgrade, with the hard drive now topping out at 750GB.
The 15-inch MacBook Pros see a slightly more substantial upgrade: The processor speed bump is 200MHz for both models and they also get a faster AMD Radeon graphics card. The S$2,488 model even sees a doubling of its graphics memory. Storage capacity however remain unchanged.
As for the 17-inch MacBook Pro, the processor now tops out at 2.4GHz compared with 2.2GHz previously. The graphics card, too, has been beefed up from a Radeon HD 6750M to a 6770M. Overall, it's a minor upgrade, but one that will be welcomed by consumers, especially with prices unchanged.
