The Philips 42PFL7406H is unlike most plasticky TVs clad top-to-bottom in attractive brushed aluminum used by pricier panels. Another interesting feature unique to the Dutch company is Ambilight Spectra 2, which emits colorful halos around the bezel for additional wow factor. In addition, this LED-powered lighting system supposedly provides a more immersive and comfortable TV viewing experience, according to Philips.
