Sony's Hirai: Jury is still out for 3D




Speech to the AsiaD: all things digital Conference today was Sony's Deputy, Kazuo Hirai, who spoke in detail initiatives on some Sony.
Of note was the softening of Sony's 3D Haltung--the company has been a staunch supporter of 3D with many product launches-but Hirai gave the audience, the the "Jury is still out on this (3D)".
He added that "game, the driver of 3D on the younger generation is more in touch with the new technology would".
The Sony Executive also rumored purchase of Smartphone manufacturer Sony Ericsson, Sony 50 percent involved is touched. Hirai said he would not respond to speculation, but he added that "the SonyEricsson component was a very integral part of the Sony strategy going forward".
"We have to ensure that we are together in synchronous." We understand what does Sony Ericsson, and they understand what Sony trying to do, "he said."
Hirai also mentioned that, while compact cameras are not "growing business-the figures speak for themselves" but based on what he, has seen its upcoming products "there are even more exciting things that we can bring to the table for and point-and-shoot cameras".
